Every Donation Counts

There are many ways to support our mission, from making a donation to our capital campaign or medical fund to gifting desperately needed items from our wishlists.  Your generosity today will enable the Loving Hearts Animal Society to give homeless cats and dogs a future of tomorrows.

All monetary gifts will be commemorated on our virtual Donor Wall

Capital Campaign Fund

Please join the Loving Hearts Animal Society in building a brighter future for homeless animals in East Texas by contributing to our “United Hearts Capital Campaign“.

Phase I: sanctuary & humane services clinic - funding goal $250,000

In the first phase of our campaign, we are focusing on replacing our current home-based rescue capabilities with official premises to enable our organization to expand our scope of services and lay the foundation to grow into the complete animal welfare center that we envision.  We are also focusing on renovating and equipping property donated to serve as the site of our Humane Services Clinic to establish and launch a low-cost spay/neuter program.

Primary Objectives:

  • Renovate Clinic Property/Building & Purchase Medical Equipment
  • Purchase Permanent Rescue Sanctuary Property (10+ Acres)
  • Sanctuary Site Improvement (Utilities & Landscaping)
  • Move Current Operations to New Site
Phase iI: feral cat reserve - funding goal $500,000

In the second phase of our campaign, we will be focusing on creating additional sustainable kennel habitats and an enclosed free-roam reserve to relocate feral cat colonies.

Primary Objectives:

  • Kennel Habitats (Kennel Barns, Catios & Exercise Yards)
  • Feral Cat Reserve (Enclosure Fencing, Shelters & Feeding Stations)
  • Launch Feral Feline Spay/Neuter Trap & Relocation Program
Phase IIi: shelter & adoption center - funding goal $3,500,000

In the final phase of our campaign, we will be focusing on expanding our facility to include a modern shelter and adoption center which will further expand our capabilities, provide on-site medical facilities, and create an inviting atmosphere to attract the public and increase adoptions.  Upon completion, our rescue kennel habitats will serve as a permanent refuge for any animals remaining homeless or deemed ill-suited for adoption.

Primary Objectives:

  • Shelter & Adoption Facility Layout & Design
  • Contractor & Construction
  • Utilities & Landscaping
  • Equipment, Furniture & Supplies
